Evaluation
All applications will be evaluated in the order they are received. Typically, by the end of January, the NSCA board will reach a decision regarding the funding. Feedback on the applications will be provided to all applicants at the beginning of February.

For those who receive funding, it is essential to secure their travel expenses upfront. After the trip, scholars must complete a reimbursement form and submit it to the provided email address. The reimbursement form will be sent to scholars along with the notification of a positive funding decision.

Want no know more?
In 2023, we received a total of five applications, with a combined requested amount of 6,960 EUR. Due to the disruptive impact of the pandemic, the NSCA board decided to award 5,000 EUR in 2023, which was a one-year holdover.

Out of the five applicants, three received a positive response, and you can find detailed accounts of their trips and how they utilized the scholarship in this newsletter. It's important to note that the scholarship covers only travel and accommodation expenses, and it does not include any additional costs such as per diem allowances.
