Bergen is Norway’s second city, and generally considered to be the most charming, with its wooden houses and old harbour, gracefully situated between seven hills and the world-famous fjords.
Getting to Bergen
Fly directly to Bergen International Airport from a number of domestic and international airports: https://avinor.no/en/airport/bergen-airport/
In addition to a large selection of direct flights to Bergen, you can also arrive by train from Oslo (approx.. 7 hours).
The Bergen Railway between Bergen and Oslo has been ranked as one of the most pictureque train journeys in the world.
Bergen also has a ferry connection to and from the Continent. Fjord Line sails to Denmark and the ferry docks within easy walking distance of the city center.
As most science centers, we’re inviting both young and old into the compelling world of natural science, phenomena and technology. We offer our guests water experiments, robots, tinkering labs, virtual expeditions over and under water – and much, much more. As we say: Play for the day – learn for a lifetime!
